Corporate identity prices in Malaysia

Option Typical price in Malaysia What you get
Freelancer identity package RM1,000 to RM3,000 Logo, basic colours and a few stationery items
SME identity system RM3,000 to RM8,000 Logo, colours, type and short guidelines
O2O Creative corporate identity RM5,000 to RM15,000 Logo, colours, type, stationery, templates and full guidelines in 6 to 8 weeks
Full SME rebrand with strategy RM15,000 to RM35,000 Research, positioning, naming support and a complete rollout

The price depends on the number of items in the system. A startup may need ten. A listed group with subsidiaries may need thirty.

Why a system beats a logo on its own

Most Malaysian SMEs start with a logo and let each supplier interpret it. The printer picks a slightly different green, the signmaker stretches the mark and the sales team builds slides in their own fonts. After two years the company looks like five companies.

A corporate identity fixes the rules once. Tender documents, annual reports, vendor registration packs and site hoardings all match, which matters when a GLC or multinational is judging whether you look established enough to award a contract. See the InfraHarta case study for a full identity with stationery and guidelines.

Who we design identities for

Corporate groups, manufacturers, property and construction firms, clinics and funded startups across the Klang Valley, Penang and the rest of Malaysia. If you only need a mark, start with logo design. If you are ready to print, ask for a quote or see all prices.

Questions clients ask before they hire us

How much does corporate identity design cost in Malaysia?

Our corporate identity projects cost RM5,000 to RM15,000, depending on how many items the system covers. Freelancers typically charge RM1,000 to RM3,000 for an identity package, and a full SME rebrand with strategy runs RM15,000 to RM35,000. You get a fixed quote after a short brief.

What is the difference between a logo and a corporate identity?

A logo is one mark. A corporate identity is the full system around it: colours, typefaces, stationery, templates, signage rules and the guidelines that tell your staff and suppliers how to use them. Our guide on logo, corporate identity and branding explains where each one stops.

How long does a corporate identity project take?

Six to eight weeks from the approved brief to final files. The logo takes the first two to four weeks, and the rest goes into applying it across stationery, templates and the guidelines document.

What is included in a corporate identity package?

A logo with all its versions, a colour palette in CMYK, RGB and HEX, primary and secondary typefaces, business cards, letterhead, envelope and email signature, Word and PowerPoint templates, and a brand guidelines PDF. Signage, uniforms and vehicle livery can be added to the same system.

Can you build an identity around our existing logo?

Yes. If your logo still works, we keep it, tidy the artwork if needed and build the colours, type and templates around it. This usually costs less than starting with a new logo.

Do you design bilingual identities for English, Malay and Chinese?

Yes. We set typefaces and lockups for English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese so letterheads, signage and reports read correctly in each language. Every script is checked by a native reader before files are released.

Do we own the files and guidelines?

Yes. Copyright in the final identity passes to you when the final invoice is paid. You receive editable source files, templates and the guidelines PDF to share with printers, signmakers and your marketing team.
