What you get

  • Brief and shelf audit. We look at where the product sells, whether a hypermarket shelf, a pharmacy counter or a Shopee and Lazada listing, and what sits beside it.
  • Concepts on 3D mockups. Up to three directions shown on your real pack shape.
  • Dielines. Built from your printer’s template or drawn to your product, with bleed, folds and glue areas marked.
  • Label layout. Ingredients, nutrition facts, halal logo, barcode and manufacturer details in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese.
  • SKU variations. One design system extended across flavours, sizes and bundles, with colour coding that stays readable.
  • Printer proofs. Artwork prepared to your printer’s specifications and checked against their proof before mass production.

Labels that pass, packs that sell

A Malaysian food or supplement label has to carry required text in Bahasa Malaysia, and many brands add English and Chinese for their buyers. That is a lot of text on a small surface. We set the hierarchy so the brand and product name read first from two metres away, and the regulatory panel stays legible at the minimum type size. Our label requirements guide lists what each panel must include.

We also design for the thumbnail. On Shopee and Lazada your pack appears at the size of a postage stamp, so we test every concept at that size before choosing a direction.

Who we design packaging for

Supplement and wellness brands such as Eostre and Garden of Eden, food and beverage producers, cafes selling retail products, and manufacturers launching consumer lines. For a new brand, pair packaging with logo design or a corporate identity. Ready to start? Get a quote.

Questions clients ask before they hire us

How much does packaging design cost in Malaysia?

Our packaging design costs RM2,500 to RM6,500 per SKU, depending on the structure and how much label text there is. In the wider market, a single label or carton runs RM2,000 to RM6,500, and a 3 to 12 SKU range RM5,000 to RM15,000. Additional flavours or sizes in the same range cost less than the first SKU.

Do you prepare dielines?

Yes. We work from your printer's or box maker's dieline when they supply one, or draw the dieline to your product's measurements and confirm it with them before artwork starts. Bleed, glue flaps and fold lines are all marked on the final file.

Can you lay out halal, nutrition and bilingual label text?

Yes. We lay out ingredients, nutrition panels, net weight, manufacturer details and the halal logo in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese as needed. You supply the approved text and certificates, and we check the layout against the requirements in our label guide.

Do you produce 3D mockups?

Yes. Every concept is shown as a 3D mockup of your actual pack shape, so you can judge it as a shopper would on a shelf or a Shopee listing. Final mockups can be used for pre-launch marketing before the first print run.

Can you work with my printer?

Yes. We prepare files to your printer's specifications, review the digital or wet proof with you, and flag colour or cutting issues before mass production. If you do not have a printer, we can suggest packaging printers in the Klang Valley and Penang.

How long does packaging design take?

Three to six weeks from the approved brief to print-ready files. Single labels sit at the short end. New box structures, multi-SKU ranges and regulatory label checks take longer.

Can I use the JAKIM halal logo on my packaging?

Only if your product holds a valid JAKIM halal certificate. We place the logo at the correct size and position once you supply the certificate, and leave the space clear if certification is still in progress.
