Skincare packaging revamp for Garden of Eden

The brief

A natural skincare range with several products needs packaging that tells them apart at a glance, keeps the brand consistent across every box, and still leaves room for the ingredients, directions and claims that buyers and regulators expect to read.

What we designed

Each hydra cream gets its own colour: lilac for Grape E, pink for Rosa E and warm yellow for Primrose E. The layout stays the same on every carton. The Garden of Eden logo sits top left, a simple line drawing of a leaf sits above the product name in large capitals, and a darker band underneath names the benefit, such as Anti-Aging Hydra Cream or Brightening Hydra Cream. Two round seals mark the natural origin claim and the hyaluronic acid content, so the selling points sit in the same place on every box. The inside flap repeats the logo and leaf so the opening moment stays on brand.

The Rosa T Triple Action Acne Serum label wraps around a 15ml amber dropper bottle. It uses cream and sage green with watercolour leaves and a classic serif. The front panel carries the product name and the three benefits. The side panels hold directions for use, the ingredient list, a “this product contains no” list and the manufacturer details, with the halal logo placed alongside.

Colour does the job of telling products apart, and the fixed layout does the job of making them look like one family on the shelf.
